I have recently removed the side stand from a 03 999. Engine runs fine until I let the clutch out. what did I miss? Please help track day this weekend

Sorry this is so late. Our forum has really slowed down since we opened our Facebook page. To answer your question you have to have a bypass for the removed safety switch or install the switch in the on position and just zip tie it to the bike. With it removed the computer thinks the stand is down. You just have to cross the two wires on the wiring harness that would connect to the switch.
